Caregiver Appreciation Event
Caregiver in Grand Rapids MI
Caregiver Appreciation Event
Trailhead Café
Featuring: River City Improv
The very most important challenge we face in fulfilling our commitment to be the best home care agency in west Michigan, is to hire the best caregivers in west Michigan. Without the finest, most dedicated home care professionals working with our clients, we will fail in our mission.
With that in mind, besides telling our caregivers whenever we speak to them how great they are, sending them notes of appreciation, sending birthday cards with a Starbucks gift certificate, giving high quality service awards, and allowing them to totally control their own schedule, we also have semi-annual Caregiver Appreciation events every year.
Unfortunately, we are very busy so many caregivers are with clients when we have these events, but that just comes with the territory. We do encourage as much participation as possible and many clients will allow a break in service to accommodate their caregiver’s participation!
In November, the weekend before Thanksgiving, we hold our Caregiver THANK YOU Luncheon at Noto’s in Cascade. We say thank you to all our staff and recap how the year has gone. We also have a featured speaker at that event and this is when we hand out our service awards.
Last Monday, we held our summer Caregiver Appreciation event at the Trailhead Café. We had a great dinner and then we were entertained by a troupe of comedians from River City Improv. What a great night, great folks and great camaraderie!
We thank each and every one of our caregivers for their compassionate care and dedication as they contribute to support our clients and their families!!
With appreciation,
Dan
