Caregiver of the Month November, 2019
Please join me in congratulating Waleeda Clark as we honor her as our November Caregiver of the Month!
Waleeda has been with Gauthier Family Home Care for 3.5 years, almost 4. During that time, she has shown us time and time again what an 
incredible asset to this team she really is. Waleeda has been steadfast with one of our toughest clients in that it is the single most physically demanding client we have. It’s also the most intricate in that this client involves 4 different home care companies as well as an offsite Case Manager. Talk about complicated! Waleeda has become an expert at maneuvering through many different challenges and many different personalities in this regard and seemingly handles it all with ease.
Something our schedulers adore about her: Waleeda is fantastic with attendance. She literally has NEVER called off sick in the 3.5 years she’s worked for us! And anything personal that comes up – she gives us plenty of notice on. That is a SCHEDULER’S DREAM, let me tell you! The stress that comes with someone calling off sick for a shift in general can be unnerving but calling off for an overnight is something next level. Overnighters are hard to come by – overnighters that never call off sick are pure gold.
Another quality about Waleeda that we absolutely adore is that the clients she helps find her calming, which really is key in the business of tending to people’s needs. Everyone she goes to visit ends up loving her and wanting her back. They love her personality and attention to detail when it comes to caring for their loved ones.
For all the reasons listed here, we want to honor Waleeda as our November Caregiver of the Month with a very big THANK YOU! She’s an incredible part of our family here at Gauthier and we feel honored to work alongside her.
